"This Pilgrim's Progress." "Detail"

This is my first Aura & Chackra painting. It's a self portrait. It was 1973 in San Francisco by the sea. I had just finished a 2 year metaphysical training with Dr. Claudio Naranjo and had just begun a psychic reading and healing training program with the Berkeley Psychic Institute. This painting was my first project in that new body of learning.

This is a detail of the Heart chackra and the Throat. The 'gordian knot' between the heart and the throat has begun to be untied...hence the title, "This Pilgrim's Progress". The Actual painting is 5'x7'... large enough to house my entire body and aura. I used the painting as a mirror to project my experience into. I was learning to run energy through my system and to focus on the chackra centers. It was lots of fun, looking in on myself, seeing and painting and transforming.
