An invitation to exhibit in a Valentine's Day art
exhibition at the Loveland Museum inspired this painting. I wanted to show
how I see and feel tantric mind to mind meditation: How we see into each other and ignite the chackras to
open: How we can help each other to burn through physical karma with energy.
I painted parts of the figures with a rubber maskit paint. The canvas
is a cotton suade, very sensitive and absorbant. I poured liquified oils on
thickened water and created the marbled environment that would, like energy, flush through
their bodies. Touching the surface of the canvas to the water creates instantaneous absorbtion.Rubbing off the maskit leaves the figures white.
'Secret' painting then penetrates and integrates the whites of the bodies with the flux of the universes.
