Stages of Attunement This panting is one of my favorites. It was done in 1989. I was doing marbled backgrounds and then hallucinating into them to find the images. I would then do 'secret' painting with ooo brushes to bring the visions out.


The content is about two women at their different stages of attunements. The lower woman is still body centered, being communed with the mountain, but stretching and struggling to see and be with the light at the top. She is more face, ego, than the woman at the top of the mountain who is more essence. The woman atop is both able to merge with the higher essence and able to subtly guide it and direct it.


These are stages we all go through as we open more of the nooks and crannies of our beings to the free flux of divine energy.
