OF THE MIND"
This etching was inspired by a vision that looked exactly like this. It occured at the
moment of waking. As the dream-state consciousness descended into the reticular formation
in the brainstem, it left this vision. The ampitheater with its circular bleachers marked the levels
that the dream state touched as it fell away, leaving wakefullness and the memory of this
vision in its wake. The man's face, the guardians of the four corners and the musical ear were
all there in the original vision.
